Mathapelo Keke Silase

Mathapelo Keke Silase is an Economist, with practical and professional capacity. She has been exposed to this field with the Energy and Climate Change scope at national, on this regional and international levels. She is currently the Project Coordinator for the World Bank funded Lesotho Renewable Energy and Energy Access Project. She served as an Energy Economic Planner in the Ministry of Energy and was responsible for data analysis to inform National Policies and Plans. She is also the National Liaison Officer of Lesotho to the IAEA serving as the interface between the Government of Lesotho and the IAEA, responsible for the overall coordination of IAEA technical Cooperation Programme in Lesotho. Ms Silase developed a series of Energy Projects for resource mobilization and funding. She is an Executive member of Women in Sustainable Energy Lesotho (WISEL) in her capacity as the Deputy Chairperson.
