Patsy Andrews

Patsy Andrews, Operations Manager in the Electro-Technical Business unit of the National Regulator for Compulsory Specifications (NRCS), has 28 years working experience in standardisation and regulatory environments, with 18 years being in the  regulatory environment.

She is responsible for the execution of the NRCS’s mandate in the field of safety, human health and environmental protection. Her responsibility entails monitoring, verification and enforcement   of compulsory specifications through inspections (ports of entry, source of products, and market surveillance), administering sanctions on non-compliant entities and commodities as well as consumer awareness. Patsy’s responsibilities include enforcing the energy efficiency compliance of electrical and electronic products.
