Samson Mhlanga

Acting Dean of Faculty of Engineering, Chairman of Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering Department (2010-2019), Senior Lecturer (since 2003). He is currently the Country representative in the Southern African Solar Thermal Training & Demonstration Initiative (SOLTRAIN) project, An Industrial Engineer with a MSc. Degree in Advanced Manufacturing Systems; Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education Management (Wits - SA) 2010, Postgraduate Certificate in Engineering Education & Project Management (Tsinghua University, Beijing, China), 2009; BEng. (Hons) Industrial Engineering (NUST, ZW 1991-95). Certificate in Feasibility Study and Development of Renewable Energy projects (Kafue Gorge regional training Centre, Zambia, February 2021). He is a member of the Zimbabwe Institution of Engineers (ZIE) since 1996 with over 20 years of engineering and academia experience.
