The training was a game-changing opportunity as it allowed me to acquire outstanding skills in design, evaluation and commercial viability of renewable energy mini-grid projects that are very useful to me in my work of finding sustainable solutions for rural electrification, which I am currently doing. This increased my understanding of entrepreneurial approaches in the renewable energy mini-grid sector as well as strengthen my capacities in terms of leadership, innovation, and efficiency. Meeting with other emerging SADC leaders in renewable energy allowed me to have a strong network and to develop valuable professional connections that actually form the basis for our future partnership for Africa's development.
