EELA Annual Regional Stakeholder Forum 2021

Join us at the EELA Annual Stakeholder Forum 2021 scheduled for Friday 25th June 2021, 10:00-12:00 (CET/CAT) or 11:00-13:00 EAT virtually through Zoom.

The Forum will feature;

  • Introduction on the Energy Efficient Lighting and Appliances (EELA) Project in East and Southern Africa
  • Panel discussion on Energy Efficiency Policies for Lighting and Appliances
  • Panel discussion on Energy efficiency for productive use
  • Announcements on: EELA Online Training and EELA Private Sector Support and Co-financing Facility

The forum is organized by United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO) in collaboration with the SADC Centre for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (SACREEE) and the East African Centre of Excellence for Renewable Energy and Efficiency (EACREEE).

The Energy Efficient Lighting and Appliances (EELA) project in East and Southern Africa aims to create market and institutional conditions to enable a transformation of the sector to stimulate increased diffusion of energy efficient lighting products and appliances across all sectors in East African Community (EAC) and Southern African Development Community (SADC) Regions.

The project is funded by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) and implemented by the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO) in collaboration with the SADC Centre for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (SACREEE) and the East African Centre of Excellence for Renewable Energy and Efficiency (EACREEE).
