One of the key outcomes of the Energy Efficient Lighting and Appliances in East and Southern Africa (EELA) project is to strengthen the capacities of key institutions, testing centers and stakeholder groups to transition to a market of efficient and high-quality lighting and appliances in the EAC and SADC regions.
In this light, the E-Learning Platform [1] is developed with the aim to support capacity development, by strengthening the competence of various stakeholders from the energy sector. Currently, two modules are available, Module 1 Introduction to markets for energy efficient lighting and appliances and Module 2 Lighting. As the project develops, the E-learning Platform will be expanded to cover clean cooling, productive use of energy and market development.
Modules are divided into several blocks, each including a few pre-recorded presentations to enable you to carry out the training at your convenience.
